After watching the Grande Hotel on Friday and feeling very discouraged abut the perpectual negative portrayal of Africa and Africans in the media, I was really relieved when this month's New African came through my door proclaiming the 100 most influential Africans. Whilst some are a bit suspect, i.e Mugabe, I was enthralled by some of the others especially the women. Will detail my top 10 later, as just got back in from a 4.5 hour stint of decluttering (still not anywhere near tidy yet) and should head to bed.
