Baby steps to health

Been pretty good in trying to restore my health after being ill for about six weeks - think all the travelling has a lot to do with my immune system basically saying, 'if you're not going to slow down voluntarily, I'm going to do it forcefully'. So a visit to Planet Organic ensued when I got back and I think I've got my diet pat down. So it consists of (this is an ideal day and by no-means happens everyday, especially when I haven't slept at home, or I've gone to bed too late):

Breakfast:

  • Hot water with lemon and ginger
  • Green juice: spinach, celery, ginger, lemon, garlic clove all through my manual juicer, then topped with aloe vera juice, Moringa powder (gifted in Tanzania) and Omega oil (hemp, flax and evening primrose)
  • Fruit and seed melange (Goji berries, Sunflower and Pumpkin seeds, Dried Figs, soaked in Grapefruit juice and flesh, Kiwis, Blueberries and Blackberries, Fresh Ginger, topped with Black Raw Tahini and Chia seeds, Superfood powder mix  of raw Cacoa, Maca, Hemp Protein and Moringa Powder
  • Energy Shake: Coconut milk and Superfood powder mix (delish)
Lunch:
Anything really but mainly a Quinoa based salad

Dinner:
Whatever is lying around

So clearly the breakfast element is great, like I said baby steps. Exercise is non-existent and bed times atrocious but when I manage to get to bed on time (before 1:00!) and have a bath, I also have a massage which really helps with my insomnia.

Also joined facebook again (in response to the Kony 2012 shit) but it's helped me to reacquaint myself with friends so that always helps me to feel a bit better but lots more work to be done.
