Went to get my visa for Ghana yesterday and got to the embassy way tooooo early so I saw the opening to a park and given my penchant for all things park-like thought I'd take a little wander, along the beautiful Waterlow Park, nestled along Highgate Hill. Soooo pretty and felt instantly relaxed, and reckon it should count towards one of my 30 places of interest. The rest of my day not so idyllic, stuck in a stifling hot waiting room and dealing with Ghanaian bureaucracy
. Not fun - after six hours of waiting, I was told that it'd take another half hour before getting my visa, so wandered further up the hill and lunched at Cote.Had a super yum hake, with sumptuous flavours of tomatoes and olive oil. Soooo delicious and makes me really look forward to the food in Paris.
