Not a very sexy or fun one for the list but an essential one that could vastly improve the quality of my life. Thankfully I am relatively healthy, no massive health problems but just niggling ones that have plagued me for most of my life. In no particular order and apologies for giving out TMI, I am afflicted by:
- Sometimes crippling period pains that render me in bed for a whole day
- Associated PMS such as extreme fatigue and loss of concentration
- Constipation (definitely TMI)
- Acne (since aged 12/13 and I am nearly 30)
- Horrid what many call sinus problems but I refer to as over production of mucous meaning my nose is constantly blocked and I can't breath properly
- Debilitating feelings of guilt and inadequacies (stops me from sometimes speaking as I feel that I know nothing in comparison to everyone else)
So need all of them to disappear before I turn 30 and I know it's achievable with a multi-pronged approach of:
- Diet consisting of mainly raw foods and high quality cooked foods and definitely excluding sugar
- Exercise, both proper full on cardio and restorative yoga
- Meditation
- Doing things that challenge me and make me happy (which 30before30 certainly will do)
- Giving back and being selfless
- Being organised
So let's get started and hopefully I'll end up looking a picture of health like this:
